Position Overview: Smarte Carte is seeking a part-time VIP Service Associate at JFK John F. Kennedy Airport. This role offers $21 – $22 per hour, with an average of 20 hours per week. Various shifts are available, including weekends and holidays.

JFK Airport Job Function:

Provide personal service as the dedicated associate to meet and greet VIP guests, assist with all airport procedures, and help passengers reach their destinations quickly. Build and maintain relationships with terminal personnel and businesses to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet VIP guests, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
  • Confirm and review reservations, services, and payments.
  • Assist guests with airline and flight information, including reading flight information display systems (FIDS), airline tickets, and itineraries.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with airport and terminal businesses and personnel.
  • Represent the airport and Smarte Carte in a customer-focused, professional manner.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills:

  • Exceptional customer service skills for a diverse population.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet guest needs.
  • Excellent time and resource management skills.

Experience:

  • Previous customer-facing role experience, preferably in hospitality services.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining business relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass airport badging requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of JFK Airport, terminals, and surrounding areas.
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with computer-based reporting tools.
  • Proficient in smartphone use.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, poised, self-motivated, and professional.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing); bilingual/multilingual preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
