Civil Engineer β Transit Projects (Orange, CA)

π¦ What This Role Involves
As a senior team member, the successful candidate will be engaged in a range of transit-related design and delivery tasks. Your primary focus will be corridor design, station planning, and multidisciplinary coordination on major BRT and LRT projects.
One of the most significant work that you will be performing is:
- Creating corridor ideas and designs.
- Enabling public participation exercises and presenting technical findings to diverse audiences.
- Creating transit reports to inform regional and local decision-making. Collaborating closely with other planning and engineering disciplines to ensure easy project delivery.
This role demands a proactive attitude, superior organizational abilities, and good communication skills to interact with internal teams and clients.

Ideal candidates will bring not only technical skills but also a collaborative spirit and a solution-oriented approach. Candidates should have:

Professional Engineering (P.E.) License β or the ability to obtain one within 12 months of hire.

8+ years of transit design experience, with a focus on:
- BRT and LRT corridors
- Guideway and track design
- Roadway engineering
- Station and park-and-ride facility layouts
β Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
β Proven ability to work directly with clients and facilitate productive discussions.
β Strong written and verbal communication skills.
β Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage priorities across multiple concurrent projects.
β Positive, self-starting attitude and dedication to working in a team-based environment.

- Base Salary Range: $120,000 β $170,000 annually
(Salary will be commensurate with experience, skillset, and location.)
