Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Operations, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in price strategy, implementation, and support of pricing tools (Model N, Oracle, SAP).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance customer focus with Business Administration standards, and self-motivation to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, direct, and supervise operations in the business applications and pricing field, overseeing team and service provider performance.
  2. Ensure financial, customer service, quality, safety, and security objectives are met in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  3. Supervise operational elements on a shift basis, ensuring adherence to pricing processes and compliance with company policies.
  4. Manage pricing tool safety and security outcomes, ensuring hazard identification, compliance, and reporting standards are met.
  5. Liaise with internal teams to manage disruptions, ensuring minimal operational impact.
  6. Deliver and maintain pricing emergency response plans, including strategies for business continuity.
  7. Ensure on-time performance in pricing operations, mitigating delays, and ensuring accurate reporting.
  8. Promote and manage sales-related operations ensuring compliance with performance targets.
  9. Monitor and report customer service standards, ensuring adherence to established KPIs.
  10. Ensure adherence to all relevant local authority regulations, including documentation and reporting.
  11. Make day-to-day pricing decisions, mitigating risks through evaluation of conditions.
  12. Identify and report safety and security incidents in accordance with company policies and regulations.

Job Description (Synopsis):

The Analyst 5, Business Applications is responsible for managing and optimizing pricing systems and tools while ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires collaborating with internal teams, managing disruptions, and maintaining on-time performance to ensure the company’s pricing processes align with Business Administration.


Accountabilities:

  • Oversight of pricing system operations, ensuring accurate product and pricing information.
  • Ensuring pricing compliance with financial targets, customer satisfaction, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between pricing strategies and business processes.
  • Maintaining documentation of pricing strategies and processes, ensuring compliance with local authority and company policies.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Operations, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in pricing strategy, pricing tools management, and order-to-cash life cycle.
  • Expertise in database management (Model N, Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Compensation & Benefits:

Western Digital offers a competitive compensation package, with the salary range for this role set between $131,920.00 and $186,900.00. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in our Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, as well as the Long-Term Incentive (LTI) Plan for stock-based compensation.
