About the Role

As a Fitness Specialist at Ageility, you will work in senior living communities to provide fitness and wellness services that promote active and healthy lifestyles for older adults. This is a unique, fulfilling role that offers diverse daily experiences outside of traditional gym or outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead fitness sessions tailored to the specific needs of older adults.
  • Conduct both individual and group training sessions to help clients achieve fitness goals such as improved mobility, strength, and overall well-being.
  • Inspire and motivate clients to maintain an active lifestyle through encouragement and positive reinforcement.
  • Collaborate with a team of rehabilitation professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Monitor and adjust fitness plans based on individual progress and goals.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associates degree in a field related to Fitness and Wellness (e.g., Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Gerontology)
    OR
  • NCCA Accredited Certification

Preferred:

  • At least 1 year of experience in personal or group fitness training.
  • Experience working with older adults.
